Our mission is simple. We are here to provide the most modern and comprehensive dental service in order to meet our patients' functional and aesthetic needs. Your comfort is our priority and we strive to make your visit as pleasant as possible.
J. Ross Stooksberry, DDS
Dr. Stooksberry is a native Texan who grew up in Collin County and resides in McKinney. He graduated from Farmersville High School in 1989 and received his BS in Zoology from Texas A&M in 1993. While at Texas A&M, he lettered for four years in Indoor and Outdoor Track and Cross Country, running distances of 800 to 10,000 meters. He then entered Baylor College of Dentistry and graduated with honors in 1998 with the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. After five years with an established dental practice in Allen, Dr. Stooksberry opened his Wylie practice in July of 2003.
Memberships
With the experience and wisdom gained over the years, Dr. Stooksberry opened his practice close to home to provide dental care the way he was taught: to give his patients quality. Dentistry is not a product, it is a service, and he is committed to providing quality service to all his patients. Dr. Stooksberry was honored in 2008 to be awarded “The Best Dentist in Wylie.”
In his free time, Dr. Stooksberry enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including football, softball, golf, sand volleyball, and snowboarding. He enjoys taking several vacations per year to recharge so that he can provide his patients with the best care possible. Julie Johnson, Front Office Coordinator
Julie has been with us for over three years. She earned an associate’s degree in dental assisting school and has a great appreciation for the privilege of creating sensational smiles every day. Seeing a patient find renewed confidence and joy brings Julie personal fulfillment. A wife and mother, Julie lives in Blue Ridge. She enjoys wakeboarding, fishing, and going to her husband’s rodeos.

Christine Ellis, Hygiene Coordinator
Christine attended Texas Dental Assistant School before joining our team as hygiene coordinator. She loves the teamwork and professionalism in our office. A true people person, Christine enjoys the opportunity to talk with our patients all day, every day. Her free time is usually spent playing soccer, shopping, or enjoying her family.

Sandra Kapp, Clinical Assistant
Sandra has been in dentistry for over 10 years. She taught Dental Careers for three years as a bilingual instructor before joining our team. She is a clinical assistant, so she works chairside with Dr. Stooksberry to help patients feel calm and well cared for during dental procedures. Sandra likes the hands-on approach our team has in working with patients. She loves to see people leave our office with a big, beautiful smile. After hours, Sandra likes to play softball or go fishing. She and her husband live in Wylie with their three daughters.

Debra Vinson, Dental Hygienist
With more than 10 years of experience, Debra brings our patients the valuable training and education they need for optimal oral hygiene and maintenance. She graduated from University of Texas at Arlington and Baylor College of Dentistry. Working with a practice that emphasizes strong patient relationships and lasting smiles is part of what makes Debra love her job. Away from the office, she and her husband have a daughter - and a niece who spends a lot of time with them. The family attends Firewheel Church in Garland and enjoys spending time outdoors.

Sarah Cobb, Dental Hygienist
Sarah earned her bachelor’s of science in dental hygiene from Baylor College of Dentistry and her bachelor's in biology from Tarleton State University. She has been with our team since graduation in 2007. Sarah has a passion for working with people and truly making a difference in their oral health. She and her husband have lived in Wylie since 2006. When she isn’t helping our patients maintain healthy smiles, Sarah enjoys fishing, scrap booking, and spending time with her family.
